The PineHills Course

Arthur Hills built a course that asks for the right shot rather than the long one. Tree lined fairways, well placed bunkers and a closing hole over water.

The course

How PineHills plays

Holes cut through stands of mature pine, so the fairways play narrower than they measure and the trees do much of the defending. Bunkers sit where a loose shot goes, water guards several greens, and multiple tee sets keep it a comfortable length for mixed groups.

  • Pine lined corridorsTall pines frame nearly every hole and punish a drive that drifts, so the course plays tighter than its yardage suggests.
  • Bunkering that asks a questionFairway and greenside sand sit exactly where the lazy shot goes. Pick a side and commit.
  • The 18thA par 4 finish with water at the green. The signature hole and the one groups talk about in the clubhouse afterwards.
  • Friendly to mixed groupsSeveral tee sets and gentle terrain make PineHills the usual first round for a group of different abilities.
